Narbonne Dominates Fremont in Flag Football Showdown

Historic South Central, CA – Fremont Pathfinders struggled to find their rhythm throughout the
game, losing to the Narbonne Gauchos in a 62-6 matchup directly after their 20-13 win against
Santee a few minutes prior.

From the opening possession, Narbonne’s offense set the tone, capitalizing on Fremont turnovers
and defensive lapses to build a significant lead. The Gauchos spread the ball around effectively,
scoring touchdowns in nearly every quarter and converting multiple extra points, while
Fremont’s defense couldn’t slow them down.

For Fremont, the lone bright spot came on a short touchdown reception by Isis Gates, who
accounted for the team’s only score of the evening. Though the Pathfinders struggled against
Narbonne’s aggressive secondary. Fremont’s quarterbacks combined for several completions, but
interceptions and stalled drives limited their potential.

Narbonne’s offense was relentless, scoring multiple times through the air and on the ground,
spreading the ball across several players. By halftime, the Gauchos had built a commanding lead,
and they never looked back.

What Comes Next?

In an effort to recover from this defeat, Fremont will play Jordan High School and Washington
Prep on Monday, November 8th.
On Wednesday, November 10th, Narbonne, the 2024 CIF D1 Champions, will take on Sacred
Heart of Jesus in an attempt to extend their winning streak.
